I walked in without a reservation on a very busy Monday evening, and although the restaurant was full, the staff kindly checked with the owner, who graciously offered me a seat at the bar. After a long 5-hour train journey (and one cancellation!), I was absolutely craving some good Desi comfort food and this place delivered beyond expectations. The paneer pakora arrived piping hot, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. The mutter paneer was rich, flavorful, and clearly made from scratch, no pre-mixed shortcuts here. To finish off, the Kaju Pista kulfi was simply out of this world, and the chai was the perfect comforting touch to end the meal. I didn’t capture photos of every dish, but I made sure to take one of the dessert because I knew I’d want to remember this experience. The ambiance was lively yet cozy and I have to mention the Bajaj Chetak hanging from the ceiling, which was such a cool thing! The owner was incredibly kind and was chatting while I was enjoying my meal at the bar. I’m already planning to return tomorrow for dinner, that’s how good it was!

Great indian food, nice decor and very family-friendly. Our whole family really enjoyed the food. The non-spicy food is completely kid-safe. Prices sre very reasonable and portions generous. We also really appreciated the acoustics. Hearing each other was no problem.
Resturant is already 4.6+ rated so no need to praise it more but owner makes you feel it's like home away from India in Sweden...chef and staff also exceptional..we tried Goan fish curry and it was just made to the perfection.. definitely it has a + over Masala Kitchen and other Indian restaurants in GOTHENBURG.. definitely gonna visit this place again and again..lot of love to all staff at resturant and the host owner for personal touch
Absolutely spectacular food! The waiter (I think it was the owner) greeted us and showed us a table, took our order and gave recommendations. The whole restaurant already smelt amazing! The food was brought not ten minutes after that and in the meantime we got free tap water, as is custom in Sweden. What can I say, it’s one of the best and most delicious butter chicken korma I’ve EVER had. The sauce was fantastic, the chicken tender, the rice well cooked, the garlic naan was amazing. I can’t wait to come back, give them all the stars!
Four big stars. Nice food, came (almost too) quick, but since it tasted really nice it was just a plus as we were with small kids. Friendly staff. Only minus were that there were not really space for the high chair at the table so ended up with our 1,5year old on the lap. Prices were really reasonable as well. Would come back

Absolutely Incredible Indian Food in Gothenburg! My wife and I came here with our 5-year-old son after a fun day at Liseberg, expecting just an average meal — but we were so wrong! The food at Bombay Kitchen is simply amazing. We’ve eaten at dozens of Indian restaurants around the world, and we’re convinced this was the best Indian meal we’ve ever had. Our son loved his chicken dish so much that he finished every bite! The flavors, textures, and overall preparation were perfectly balanced, and the freshness of the ingredients really stood out. The hospitality and service were equally outstanding — warm, welcoming, and heartfelt. Mickey was an incredible host, and his genuine kindness made our dining experience even more special. Absolutely amazing Indian food. One of the best in Sweden for sure . Very centric location and value for money. Tried many Indian restaurants across Scandinavia and this one has to be on top ones .
